Why do we do Easter?

Easter matters to us because it is the moment that changed everything. It is the celebration of Jesus’ death and resurrection, the ultimate act of love and the foundation of our hope.

In Matthew 28:5, the angel says, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.” Those words remind us that Easter meets us in our searching, our doubt and even our fear. The empty tomb declares that death is not the end, hope is alive, and Jesus is risen.

Easter tells the greatest story ever told, a story of sacrifice, victory and new life that is still transforming lives today.
